Mikael: how to romance them in Astrea's Broken Heart

Verdict: cheap start, three big choices later

Mikael costs 487 diamonds, fourth of five in Astrea's Broken Heart; only Malek at 406 is cheaper. Season 1 costs just 68 diamonds, with three of its five steps free. Then three choices, 76, 95 and 142, make up most of the bill.

Where the diamonds go

Season 1: "Let's dance." for 45 in Episode 8, A Special Evening, and "Mikael." for 23 in Episode 10. Everything else is free.

Season 2:

• Episode 1, Returning Home: "Read his thoughts." — 76, next to a free pick of Mikael.
• Episode 8, The Best Day: "Tell him this." — 95.

Season 3:

• Episode 2, The Observer: "Leaned toward him." — 142.
• Episode 6, Difficult Decisions: "I'll wait here until the meeting starts." — 73.
• Episode 11: "Mikael." — 33.

How I'd play it

Pay Season 1 as you go. After that, I'd keep a separate save slot and move the 95 and the 142 to Diamond Rush: that's 237 diamonds, and the route drops to 250 out of pocket. Season 3, Episode 2 also has Raphael's 26-diamond steps, so it's a good save point if you're still choosing. Compare with Malek at 406 or Cassiel at 519.
