Verdict: cheap, with one big choice

Boris costs 146 diamonds, a small fraction of Cain's 1128; only Abel is cheaper in Requiem, at 68. His route is 4 steps, one in each of the first two seasons and two in Season 3. The 102 in Season 3, Episode 5 is 70 percent of the route.

How I'd play it

Pay the 18 and the 26 as they come. Season 3, Episode 5 is the one to keep on a separate save slot for Diamond Rush, and without it the route costs you 44 diamonds. The same episode has Yan's 148 and Cain's 22, so it's also where you choose. In Heaven's Secret 3, Boris's route is 231 diamonds. Compare with Abel or Yan.
