Lachlan: how to romance them in The Parallel Universes Bureau Vol. 2

Verdict: top price by 5 diamonds

Lachlan costs 358 diamonds, 5 more than Luis at 353, and more than twice Colt's 143. His route is shorter than Luis's, 12 steps against 17, and only 3 are free. Nothing costs more than 54, so it's a steady route without a big bill.

Where the diamonds go

The route starts in Episode 3 with "Just who are you, anyway?" for 30. Episode 4, High Rollers, is the busiest: four steps, three of them free, plus "Join Lachlan at the bar." for 49.

After that, it's all paid:

• Episode 6: "Drive back with Lachlan.." — 47.
• Episode 8: "You're fine. Keep going." for 21 and "Make amends." for 45.
• Episode 9: "I've got this." and "Speak with Lachlan." — 31 each.
• Episode 10: "Stay with Lachlan." — 50.
• Episode 13: "Sneak away." — 54, the top price.

How I'd play it

Pay as you go: the priciest episode on his route is Episode 8 at 66, and that's still a medium bill. If you're torn between him and Luis, save before Episode 4: both have steps there. Compare with Luis or Colt.
