Aidan: how to romance them in Shadowborn

Verdict: one choice, and it's a pick between two

Aidan's route in Shadowborn is a single paid step so far: "A vampire (Aidan)" in Episode 2, The Introduction, for 26 diamonds. Corwin is offered in the same choice at the same price, so Episode 2 is the moment you decide which vampire you're following. With 3 episodes out, this is the price as of now, not the final one.

How he compares

Every route in Shadowborn is short at this point:

• Augustus — 46, the top price.
• Aidan — 26.
• Corwin — 26, same choice.
• Andrew — 20.
• Alulim — 10.

The spread between the cheapest and the priciest is 36 diamonds, so the choice is about who you like, not about your stash.

How I'd play it

Make a save before Episode 2 and, if you can't decide, play the choice on two slots. If 26 diamonds is too much right now, keep that slot for Diamond Rush. When a new episode comes out, I look for an Aidan choice first, since the route will likely grow. The full list is on the Shadowborn page.
