Sunborn: walkthrough and guide

Four episodes in, and the bill is still small

Sunborn is still coming out: 4 episodes of Season 1, 65 choices. New ones go on the update schedule. It's a post-apocalyptic world run by vampire clans, and the heroine is a she-wolf who takes a job to buy her pack's freedom: find the only known antidote to vampirism. An abandoned lab changes her plans, and every episode after that pushes her deeper into the dark.

Barely a quarter of the choices are paid

16 of the 65 choices cost diamonds. If you bought every single one, the four episodes would come to 793 diamonds, less than many stories ask for one romance route. The priciest so far:

• Episode 3, "Little Bird": 3 of 14 choices paid, up to 276 diamonds.
• Episode 1, "Gleaner": 5 of 21, up to 264.
• Episode 2, "Killer": 4 of 15, up to 143.

Episode 4, "Mercenary", is the lightest at up to 110 diamonds, which makes it a good one to play on release day without worrying about the bill.

My advice: play every episode as it comes out, buy only what you really want to see, and leave the rest for Diamond Rush, when paid choices are free in every story. With a story this young, it's easier to keep a separate slot and replay during Rush than to pay now.

Second in the series

Sunborn comes after Moonborn and before Shadowborn, which continues the series with a new vampire heroine. If you haven't played Moonborn, that's the place to start, and with only 793 diamonds' worth of paid choices here, Sunborn is easy to catch up on afterward.
