Verdict: an expensive route, plan it early
Lucifer asks for 796 diamonds across 20 steps, and only 2 of them are free. In this story only Dino costs more, at 882. The route starts right away, with "Remember Lucifer." for 27 in Season 1, Episode 1, and Season 1 alone adds up to 331 diamonds over ten choices.
Where the big money goes
- Season 3, Episode 3: "Pull him towards the bed." — 150, the single priciest choice. The same episode has "Tell me about your childhood here." for 30.
- Season 2, Episode 4: "Lucifer's presence." — 101.
- Season 1, Episode 5: "Can you be gentler?" — 72.
Season 2 is the gentle one: 133 diamonds and a free "Lucifer." in Episode 8. Note the 32-diamond door in Season 2, Episode 5: that choice only shows up if you're already close with Lucifer, so skipping earlier steps can cost you this one too.
How I'd play it
Pay for the cheap Season 1 choices as they come, and save the 150 and the 101 for Diamond Rush, when diamond choices are free. Season 3 is where the route closes, so keep it on its own save slot. If 796 is too much, War costs 111 and Hunger 137 in the same story.
