Edmund: how to romance them in Shakespeare's Code

Verdict: almost everything is paid

Edmund costs 1093 diamonds, third in Shakespeare's Code after Ralph at 1345 and Edward at 1311. What makes him different: 22 of his 23 steps cost diamonds. The bill comes in three even parts, 380, 334 and 379 per season, so there's no cheap season to coast through.

The big ones

• Season 3, Episode 1: "I want more." — 143, the top price.
• Season 1, Episode 1: "Give in to the impulse." — 76, right at the start of the story.
• Season 2, Episode 4: "New Outfit" — 71. It's a look, so it's the easiest one to skip if you only care about the scenes.
• Season 3, Episode 3: "Spend time with Edmund." — 70.

Season 1, Episode 10 has two choices back to back, "Look around." for 32 and "Stop." for 50.

How I'd play it

With no free steps to lean on, I'd plan Edmund around Diamond Rush: the 143 and the 76 alone are 219 diamonds. Keep him on a separate save slot, pay the 20s and 30s as they come, and leave the big ones for the Rush. If you'd rather spend less, Abraham costs 643 and Hobello 450.
