Play this one last: it ties the whole series together
Heaven's Secret 3 is the finale of the series, and it's built for people who've played everything before it. Three realms clash in a war against the god of darkness, and the heroes of the earlier parts come back to see it through. The story has intimate scenes.
It's still coming out. In English there are 48 episodes so far, 30 in Season 1 and 18 in Season 2, and the studio has called Season 3 the final season. New episodes show up on the update schedule.
The setup starts with a soul that wasn't hers to keep
The god of darkness snatched the heroine's soul from death, and now her life is in his hands. The old world is gone, and all she can do is keep moving and learn to live as someone new. In Rotkov, cultists run wild under a new order, and something hidden is waking up inside her.
Romance here is a side note, so budget for the plot
The only romance route counted in this part so far is Cain: one step in Season 1, paid, 26 diamonds. If Cain is your guy, his long route is in Heaven's Secret — Requiem, and that's where the real diamonds go.
The real cost of part 3 is the plot itself.
The most expensive story in the series: spend only where it matters
274 of the 542 choices are paid, just over half. Buying every paid option would come to 24,134 diamonds: 12,770 for Season 1 and 11,364 for Season 2. For comparison, the whole first Heaven's Secret tops out at 2,854. Season 2 is especially dense: 97 of its 194 choices are paid, in only 18 episodes.
Nobody pays for all of that, and you don't need to. The plot moves forward on free choices. Paid ones give you scenes, outfits and extra lines, and you can let most of them go without breaking the story.
Three episodes to keep for Diamond Rush
The opening of Season 2 is the heaviest stretch in the story:
- Season 2, Episode 1, "Visiting Shephamalum": 12 of 14 choices paid, up to 1,220 diamonds.
- Season 2, Episode 3, "New Laws": 10 of 17, up to 1,180.
- Season 2, Episode 2, "Appetite": 8 of 14, up to 1,058.
If you haven't reached them, wait for Diamond Rush, when paid choices are free in every story. Three episodes worth almost 3,500 diamonds are a good enough reason for me to wait.
Finish the series in this order
- Heaven's Secret
- Heaven's Secret 2
- Astrea's Broken Heart
- Heaven's Secret — Requiem
- Heaven's Secret 3
Requiem leads straight into this part, so if you've forgotten how it ended, replay its last episodes before starting.
