Who this season moves
What the first episode costs
One episode, 23 choices, 11 of them paid — almost half. Taking every paid option across all branches costs 832 diamonds. That's more than any single episode of Season 1, where the priciest was 382, and close to the top of Season 3, where “Self-Immolation” cost 838. Eleven paid choices in one episode is also a lot: Season 1 never went above 10.
Who moves in Episode 1
Amen 2 romance steps, Ramesses 1. Amen is the only one with two steps, so this episode leans his way. Livius, Set and Anubis don't move here.
How I'd spend
With one episode out, I wouldn't buy all 11 paid choices. If you're with Amen, this episode gives him two steps — that's where I'd put diamonds. For Ramesses it's a single step, so I'd pick the one paid choice that matters to you and keep the rest for later episodes.
